  • Bethany (actually Ty), made a good observation . . . it appeared that Ainsley was being "prompted" by someone on her left side in this last video of her signing her name!
Actually, she has ADD (as I hear MOST 3-year-olds do) and it was just the TV she was distracted by.

Just so you can see she is not always so perfect in her signing -- I give you the "first take"!  Actually, this video is much more entertaining (in my opinion) since she is sooo dramatic about the whole thing!  She has trouble with "m" and "n" so she looks at me for reassurance when she says it (she always signs it right, just SAYS it wrong sometimes!)

Of course, she kept wanting to SING instead of SIGN . . . so I give you Ainsley singing her favorite song.

I hope Tim McGraw is not offended by her new ending . . . . "DAY.....!"

OK - I'm off to organize and edit all of my other pics of what I've been doing this summer!

Now that I think of it, we just got a raise for on-call time, so I am getting $6.50 an hour to sit here and work on this instead of the usual $5.25!!  Thanks Tenet Health Care!  Big whoop!    Anyone else out there have to be on-call?  If you don't mind sharing:  how much do YOU get an hour?  Bart????  : )  I think we're a little behind on the pay scale (9% below the other hospital in town is what I hear..)  Oh well, I'm "content with my wages" - just listening too much to our new Union reps I guess!  ha!

  • I love how she says "My name is Ainsley Wood" at the beginning of the video. ...and "I'm going to spell your name for you."  At least I think that's what she says.  So cute.:coolman:

RYC:  No, I have never heard of that recipe website you are talking about, but I do think it sounds neat.  There are times when I need to make something for dinner and DO NOT want to run to the store, so it would be GREAT to just type in what I have on hand and get an idea of what to make.  If you ever find it, you can send it my way!:p

  • Those videos are really cute!

  • i think i'm gonna have to visit bart & jess so i can use their computer& fast internet hook-up so i can actually watch these videos.

  • too cute.  mallory is easily distracted also. I an lucky if I can get a new # into her memory right now.  She can count to 14 but can only recognize 1-4. We are off to a Labor Day meeting today!

  • Those videos are too cute!!  Hope and Gabby get distracted easily too. :)   Hope you have a great weekend!

  • Is she always so hilarious?!?!  I love it!

  • That's precious!   A YouTube star in the making! :sunny:

ryc: Grace is 4, she'll be 5 in Nov.

  • ryc-to tell you the truth i don't know much about xanga skin.  when i tried to use their stuff one time it seemed to mess up my page.  i just search around and see what websites others are using and then pick one from that.

  • Alison enjoyed the video of Ainsley singing. This comment is from her. "DA! (clap clap) DA DA DA! (point, razz razz) DA!" Thanks for the entertainment! Maybe we will see you at the labor day meeting!

  • Hey, how are ya!  Tell Monte congrats on the Mizzou win.  We were able to hang on.  You can't win 'em all if you don't win the first one.  MIZ-ZOU!!!

  • RYC:  I don't like camping.  Our family did go one year, but it was definitely not fun.  In fact, I think it was one of the most disasterous years ever (not for us, but others who were there).

  • She's hillarious!  Can't wait to see you guys end of September.  I bought my ticket last week.  I come on the 27th and leave Oct 6th.  Love you!

  • I love Anisley's voice.  It's kind of hoarse or raspy.  Hayleigh's was the same way at that age.

  • RYC:   Yes they are slicovered.  Rebecca is just awesome!  I wish you had one of her, too!  I will share if you like :)   Ainsleys' videos are precious.  Is she going to go to public school or are you planning on home-schooling?  She is so smart!

  • RYC:  (again) ha...I love the emersions programs they have now!  I tried to get Meg and Drew in the one in Turlock but it was always full.  :(     Learning a second language is becoming more and more necessary in the US.  Regarding public schools...I, too, think they are still ok...my kids did fine.   I was just curious thats all, since you've taught her so much already.  I think its totally up to the parents...some are NOT cut out for homeschooling...the kids basically teach themselves...you know, that kind of thing.  Ainsley not good with numbers?  SHES ONLY 3!!!  haha   A lot of kids dont have a clue at 5 and 6!  ha   Take care...
