OK – I’m still up at 2 am, working on another one of my hubby’s anniversary gifts & watching Rachael Ray on my dvr . . . so figured I’d try to finish up my 10 days of anniversary blog!
Day #6 of my anniversary celebration
“10 Songs That Remind Me of Us/You” &
iTunes gift card
Day #7
“10 Important Threes” &
Macy’s gift card (such a smart hubby! He let’s ME do the shopping!!!)
Day #8
“10 Best Memories After Ainsley” &
Mizzou tee, bracelet, earrings, & necklace!
(By the way, one of the things he likes about me (#10) is how I ”support Mizzou for him”)
Day #9
“10 Things to Look Forward to in the next 10 years” &
ten $20 bills for a camera. We also went out to eat this day since he had a track meet the next day.We went to Olive Garden (my FAVE!), ordered appetizers, ate just a bit of our entree, packed it up to go and then ordered dessert! YUMMO!
Day #10 (Day of our anniversary)
He took off work this day to go pick up these 10 roses for me, and then he was off to his track meet for the rest of the evening.
I’m sure you are all wondering what I got for him!?!!?! Well, it was boring and expected . . . a new ring – since he lost his for the last time in February on the beach in Monterey. (Yes, it has fallen off of his finger a few times before, but Lane was always around to FIND it! Even though he was with us in Monterey, even Lane was not able to find it on the beach)
Monte was showing off his ring but I thought we were supposed to be showing how many years we’d been married so I did it too!!
I’m actually still shopping for a gps for him (us) and as some of you know – we are going to Hawaii in June . . . I think that is a pretty good anniversary!
I don’t have time tonight – since it’s 2:30 am, but I will soon have to do an entry about all of the reason I love my hubby. I am finishing up a scrapbook for him of all of these things and I will share some with you. He is definitely the BEST!!

@davysPprincess - oh man … if you only knew us when we were dating!! He was soooo mushy gooshy!! Jen Worsham and I lived together for a while so she could tell you! Like out of now where he would tell her or something else “You know what?” and they’re like “What?” “I just LOVE Rebecca!” :love::heartbeat::lol: Such a sweety, huh?!?!

@okiejo63 - hmmm . . . yah, I”m sure he’ll come up with something! It’s actually his everyday loving things that is the best, like cleaning up the kitchen almost every time after I fix dinner, getting Ainsley ready for church EVERY Sunday morning, etc . . . :goodjob::love:

very sweet!!! where in Hawaii are yall going? we went to Maui for our honeymoon…its AWESOME! i would live there if it wasnt so far away. i keep hinting that in 3 more years for our 10th i want to go back…..we will see if my hints work for me:lol:
So sweet! 10 years ago we were moving your “outdoor wedding” to the church because of rain…this year it was Meg and Randys turn! WOW…maybe you should do a post on 11′s…ha! I wouldnt change a thing though, both weddings were a lot of fun! Love you…

Happy Anniversary!!:sunny: How very sweet to do 10 day’s of your anniversary. Ours is coming up and we keep talking about doing something but with family so far away we have to think about the kiddies. Who knows. I don’t think I would mind gift cards, money, flowers and notes..heheh:wink:
RYC: Thanks for your prayers. Yes, Billy has been a member for a few years, maybe 3 or 4? He has been living with the Newmans for quite a while.
That is just so sweet! Good for y’all! Our two most memorable anniversaries were the 4th (when I gave him a positive pregnancy test for a gift) and the 16th (when we were coming back home from Ethiopia with the twins).
@Immax3 - awwww, that is sooo cool! We should really adopt – we talk about it but that’s about it. I wish the need would just arise right in front of us and we could say ‘hey, we’ll take that poor child in!” But it doesn’t usually work that way! : (
@Hey_its_me_Shanny - Yah, it’s hard to go on a trip by yourselves when you really WOULD like to be around your kids too – esp if it’s more than just a day or two – I would miss Ainsley! So we just invited our parents to go to Hawaii WITH us so they can babysit for us THERE and we can still see Ainsley! :love:
@leahdh - oh man! I have been sooo bad about getting on this computer here lately with all of the yard work I can be doing instead!!
Anway, RYC, we are going to Owahu Fri-Sund for church then off to the big island of Hawaii. We went to Maui for our 5th anniversary so thought we try something different. :coolman:
RYC: YEAH, DARREN AND CARLY WERE HERE WITH US FOR THE EXTENDED WEEKEND. AND WE HAD SUCH AN AWESOME TIME. I ALREADY MISS THEM BOYS!! RIKKI WILL BE IN OAKDALE THIS WEEKEND BUT WE WILL SEE YOU ON SUNDAY.
