Well, we just got back from another great camping trip . . . but I MUST get my Missouri pictures up – since it has been requested of me several times now (not to mention anyone’s name!) Well, actually is was “Lebanon picts” that was requested so I’ll start here I guess. So here we go!

As you will soon see… most of my pictures at Lebanon are of Ainsley and all of her new friends!

Ainsley & Granna (doesn’t she look pretty and so skinny?!)
Rachel ? and Ainsley
She made friends with her before Lebanon when we went to services at Ozark . . . they had locked up the building and the 2 of them were no where around!! I finally went back inside to find them both in the bathroom without a care!!

Yes, that’s ME mowing the lawn there at Monte’s parents house. I think I only stalled it one time when it
started smoking and I thought some belt had burnt through – but really I had just filled it too full of grass
and it was getting all backed up! OOPS!

Ainsley swimming in Granna and Papa’s back yard
BRANSON LANDING!!!!!! YEAH!!!!

Thanks for sharing. That was a fun few minutes of seeing all of Ainsley’s friends and your family. We look forward to seeing Ron in a month or so. He looks pretty sour in one of those pictures. We will have to sweeten him up on our good bananas and strawberries.
I enjoyed all of your pictures….and there were A LOT!!!
I loved all the pictures. Looks like y’all had a great time.
Looks like tons of fun, thanks for sharing them and labeling so well.
Great pictures. Looks like you guys had some fun times!!:sunny:
Thanks for sharing your pictures. Looks like a great trip! love, Love, LOVE your red shoes!
It’s fun to see the little ones already building friendships across the country! OK, I guess I’mm out of the loop. Is Branson’s Landing a huge mall in Branson???? It has been a long time since I have been to Branson, I don’t remember anything like that.
Hey, could you please do some airbrushing (is that the correct term to get rid of flaws in pics?) on my double chin? LOL Thanks for posting the pics. Mary
What a fun summer…great pictures! Love ya
RYC: I have lost 2 1/2 pounds! But I think I have gained it back. We went to Mississippi over the weekend and those people love to feed you! I tried to get smaller portions and healthier items but when someone takes you to a buffet with seafood and fried catfish what is a person to do. I didn’t want to hurt their feelings. I have not worked out since last Friday but I hope to get back into routine tomorrow. Plus, I did begin the weight watchers plan. I am sure that’s what dropped the pounds.
Be careful at Half Dome and I look forward to some pictures of that hike.
I loooooove all your pictures! That one of Ainsley in the brown dress over the vent is adorable!
Doug Hawkins looks the same as he did 15 years ago….does the guy not age?! haha I sent you a message from Pam. She’s been trying to comment you but can’t get through? Anyway, let me know if you got my message. Ta! :heartbeat:
oh yeah, that picture of Monte and the explosives cracked me up!! I totally laughed out loud
he’s scaring me a little bit
ryc: YEAH,ITS CALLED LIBBY LU’S. THERE’S ONE UP THERE SOMEWHAT CLOSE TO YOU ALL. WE ARE GONNA GO BACK AND LET SOPHIA GET HER HAIR AND STUFF DONE. i LEFT HER WITH HER DAD THAT DAY AS IT WAS TORI’S B-DAY THING WITH HER FIRENDS. THERE WERE SO MANY GIRLS THERE AND THEY ALL LOOKED GREAT. GOODTO SEE YOU ALSO. TAKE CARE
After reading your comments, I was so wishing I had your phone number so I could call and chat with you. First, Skype is a program you can download onto your computer that allows you to talk to other Skype people for free. I have been taling to Debbie E about twice a week for the past couple of weeks. It is great! It is also great if you don’t have a long distance plan (if you can get the other people to download the program) ex. Alaskasister…if she waits until 9:00pm when her free minutes on her cell phone start it is very late in Texas. Plus you can do conference calls with up to 9 people. I think it would be a little confusing with that many people, but 3 or 4 might be fun!
OK, this is scary, I’ve only answered 1 question and it already looks like an essay on here!
Next, I teach kdg., I agree with Gina on the preschool issue. Delaney is going this year, but it is not because I think she needs help academically. She is already in daycare and her daycare has no girls her age. Plus she can go to my school and as goofy as it may sound, it will make me feel a little closer to her since I have to be a working mom.
Delaney learned all of her letters and I can’t say we really sat down and worked on them. Read ABC books, abc magnets on the fridge (the cheap ones) let her get on the website Starfall, it is really good. I also highly recommend the LeapFrog DVD called The Letter Factory. Delaney learned all of her sounds from watching that DVD just a couple of times. The Talking Words Factory is good too, it has rhyming words and shows how when you change the first letter you make a new word. We also have the Math Circus which she enjoys watching.
It was weird, Delaney was hardly writing anything, but she could spell her name orally. One day, out of the blue, she wrote it on her own (in CAPS), some of the letters were backwards or on their side, but she did it. After that she started writing other letters (that was right before her 4th birthday)
The website internet4classrooms has stuff on there even for preschool, I believe. Some are games for the computer and some are things you can rpint out. It has a lot of stuff on it, some of it is great and some isn’t so great.
I think I’ll stop and next week I’ll make a post with more ideas. Check out malawisister, she had a bunch of great ideas for teaching your children the Bible.
If you want to talk sometime, message me your phone number. I love to talk education! :sunny:

The girl on the far right is Savannah Smith (Chad and Michelle’s daughter), Cullen’s niece… goes to church with us. And that eating the rolls picture…too funny, but remind me next time that pictures of eating food never turns out well!!! I mean, Ainsley is cute doing anything, but there’s a point in your life where you don’t want to be showing off that much forehead, mouth, OR chin!!! :nono: Miss you guys…I need to send some pics your way. I’m starting Dad’s scrapbook and plan to burn a cd with all the pics I use… there are some great ones of him as a kid! :heartbeat::heartbeat::heartbeat: Dana
