  • 1.  Raise your hand if you're going to see the special MIDNIGHT viewing of Harry Potter tonight!!!

    2.  Raise both hands if you're taking your nephews and their friends too and having 5 boys spend the night at your house!

    3.  Nod your head if you're on-call for work until 3 am and you're STILL going!

    4.  Who has a husband who said that he would go ahead and pick up the boys at 2 am JUST IN CASE you get called into work!?

  • Haha, you are so funny!!  Well, even though we are LEAVING tomorrow MORNING at 8 Aubrey, Rebecca, Timothy and Krista are going to the midnight showing tonight so I HAD TO BE THE RESPONSIBLE ONE so someone could drive us safely!!   • Haha!  I'm actually getting ready to go pick up Shannon in about 30 minutes to go to the Harry Potter movie.  It's official......we are nuts.:fun:

  • Never seen or read Harry Potter. Maybe when Delaney is old enough for them, I'll read them. I used to love to read, but I hardly ever do anymore.(except children's books! :lol: )

  • The crazy thing is, I went to the movies tonight to see another movie and it got out at 12:00 and they said we could stay for Harry Potter.  (I do need to stay up til 4am to take the Tate's to the airport,) but I passed on the free offer.  (I haven't seen the other Harry Potter's)  But the 500 teenagers camping out to get in to see the movie would have been shocked if they knew I walked out at midnight!!  CRAZINESS!! HA!

  • We love the movies too.   I am not courageous enough to attend a midnight session and on a night I would be on call.  You are brave. Did you get called in?

  • You are too funny! Wish I could have gone too! Sounds like fun! Lydia and I were talking yesterday about how to figure a way we could go see it (not at midnight, just in general).  We're working on it but it will probably be awhile.:) I hope you didn't get called in!:eek:

  • haahahhahahaaha...Chad was going to see it last night at 12:00 too, but the friend that invited him said they went to get tickets and it was of course sold out...so he is going at 3:00 today. I think before I see it, I want to sit down and watch the previous ones and then go and see it....It has been a while since I saw any of them. Austen wants to go this weekend...Friday night might be a Harry Potterathon night!! :) I better go...Hope you are doing well...what a great Auntie you are...Hope you enjoyed!!!! Love you, Twila

  • So, did you like it? Marc is reading all the books again. And we have been watching the movies. We are going on Thursday. We are so excited!!!!

  • I've only seen the first one. It was ok. But I wanted to make my comment about your previous post...thanks for the photos of the wedding. They are so pretty. I just love it when some one goes to a wedding and posts for them.

  • HI!  Michaela and Andy (I think) talk thru email and during meetings.  They have only known each about year and half, but they are always excited to see each other. No, I didn't know they were cousins.  I guess my kids have it good.  They can marry anyone in the church and not have to worry about family!  LOL  (Michael and I are the only ones in the Church in our family.)

  • Hope you like it... I love the HP books, but hated the first two movies.. they just didn't capture what I imagined Hogwarts to be like so I decided to be true to my own imagination.  However, I saw the last thirty minutes of the last one this week and they look like they are getting better... let me know how it was b/c this movie is about my favorite book in the series so far!!!!

  • RYC: Lyd's doing great! She's feeling good, breast feeding is going great now that her milk is in - it took awhile for it to come in so Kennedy had dropped a little over a pound and had to start supplementing w/ formula for a day or so. That's always stressful but she's over it.  Now she's trying to get her not to need the shield when she nurses 'cause it make it more difficult to nurse her discreetly.  Kennedy is not making it easy but Lydia's determined not to give up.:lol: I think she's sleeping pretty good, for a newborn.  I believe she gets a 4 hour stretch most nights. Lydia and Mahlon have dial up so that's the main reason she hasn't loaded any pictures yet - it takes FOREVER!:rolleyes::lol:  Maybe I'll post some. :yes:  You had asked me about her delivery and I keep thinking she will xanga about it but if she doesn't I'll tell ya. So, how was HP??:sunny:

  • hello!  ryc-so many questions, i will try and answer the majority-my blood sugar was in the low 100's at the beginning of the test, they didn't take it in the office when he first had his suspicions.  my symptoms were mostly being really tired about 1 1/2 hours after i ate.  my limitations are no more than 50mg carb, 20mg sugar w/ 3-4 oz protein every meal.  i stay on the low end of those numbers.  i try not to let myself get hungry or else i want to eat stuff that's not so good for me.  otherwise i haven't had a hard time adjusting.  i definetly notice a difference in my energy level.  it is sooooooooo much better.  rarely do i take a nap anymore.  after that testing it has been discovered that my thyroid now seems to be functioning normally which is great.  i had been taking medicine for that since alex was born, and now i don't have to.  more info than you wanted i'm sure! 

  • :yes: I mailed all your goodies Monday, so hopefully they will get there soon.  I don't really know how long it takes.  I did tell Ainsley to bow afterwards, but NOT in the middle!  :lol:

  • You went to a midnight showing and you don't even know who Snape is???!!! lol He's the potions teacher, the one that was giving Harry the occlumency lessons in this movie. You know, they guy all in black. I LOVE HIM!!!

  • ryc:  That was the first time the girls have spent really anytime around each other.  They had a great time at the zoo.  Kelly and Delaney are going to come over next week and go swimming with me and the girls.  We are trying to spend some time around each other so the girls can become friends...How was Lebanon?  I told Andy that we needed to go next year.  :)

  • ryc: You come on down. Just give us some warning ahead of time. :p

  • RYC:  Shannon can NEVER leave...haha.  I won't let her.  Let's not even talk about that.:mad:  Life would be so BORING!!!

  • RYC: Our last two trips have been to Mossdale near Manteca. I like it; it's close to home and pretty quiet.

  • ryc:  We go swimming over at my parents, which only live 3 minutes away from us.  They have an in-ground pool with a diving board.  The girls are getting brave with jumping in with their life jackets on.  The other day they thought we weren't watching and they both jumped in from the side.  It was so funny.  Now if we could only get Hope to keep her mouth closed when she jumped.  :)   Have a great weekend.

  • RYC: her middle name is after my grandmother Korean Trent. My mom's mom. and it is pronounced like CORE-REEN, not like the country. i have to clarify that often, but tori was the first great grandchild for my Trent grandparents and my nanny is pretty special to both dan and i and felt that it was very fitting name her first great granddaughter/child after her.

  • RYC: The dark color your seeing is an espresso brown/black.  I wanted something to go with browns and black.  So you've painted every BUT the cabinets?  haha....Thats ok....remember, its only paint.  But I do get the not wanting to do it twice thing. :)
