Beth was induced. Apparently she couldn't "take it anymore." She went in at 5:30 am and had her at about 8:20 pm... long day.
RYC: Yeah, kids would sure be a nicer reason not to be carefree.
That's great news! RYC: you are full of good yard work advice, you sound like a pro!
ryc-you're too funny! i'll post a pic of them later. i had a friend say to me today.....oh well will you still hang out with me in my $25 dollar sandels? i detected a note of cattiness in her voice. and i have no idea what they tested in my urine. i just peed when they told me to.

Thank you for your comment. I love your background of flowers at the top. Boy, that's one ugly dude in your last post. I hope he's not related.
I used to live in Riverbank the first time we came to California when I was 8 or 9 years old. I don't think we stayed quite a year before moving back to Texas. Then, when I was 10 we moved to Bakersfield, and here I am still. We know Ron and Doris real well. They used to live around here after they moved from Lompoc. They actually lived in Arvin, which is close. We've had a lot of fun and good times together. We've had Greg drop in at Tehachapi every once in a while for church services in the morning.
My mom's uncle lived in Riverbank for years. He was A.B. Bunch and owned an auto wrecking yard there. If you've been there a long time you might have known him. He was a lot of fun and we had fun playing in all the old cars. And, it's the first place I ever had an apricot, or even heard of one. I liked Riverbank, except the kids there made fun of how we talked. I tried to change my talking right away.
Ok, enough history. All you did was wish me a happy birthday, and I start rattling on. ~ Jo Ann
Good news.
I will have to have Steph see if she can get tickets with her connection. Your mom said Thursday night for Dixie Stampede. Sometimes she calls it the chicken show!
Tamra is also a sweet, sweet girl, and her family is all proud of her. Thanks for posting.
Yes, Payne is my maiden name. Why?
RYC-The trampoline is on the volleyball court because we are planting grass everywhere and we needed it out of the way. Joanna has found many interesting, daredevil things to do with the trampoline! ha
that's exciting news!! oh, and i didn't see your last post til today and i love, love, love that Ainsley is a little fisher girl. how cute! RYC: i really was holding back my laughter but i have to do that a lot. especially if the class laughs at a student and i can tell that it hurt their feelings then it's actually pretty easy to hold back. what was i doing?? i was letting the kids interview each other about how their year was and this little character just started talking about being an engineer so i turned on my camera and filmed him when he didn't know he was being filmed. he thought i was just talking to him. he can be such a cutie!
I would be curious to know what Monte thinks about that book. I am all for censorship, that is censoring ourselves as to what we put in our minds. I also have never had a problem censoring what my kids read and watched. It has it's place.
Yes, abomination. It's a strong word, but I feel strongly about being late. I'm not talking about being late due to things beyond your control. I'm referring to people who are habitually late because they just piddle around and don't get ready on time, thus leaving other people waiting...
Grapevine/Los Colinas used to be part of the congregation at Irving. We have just become a part of this congregation since moving to TX. They used to meet in a hotel, but unfortunately that was no longer possible. We are temporarily meeting in the Coon's home (until the building which is located in Grapevine) is finished. There is a man who goes there (Wes Cochram) whose sister was badly injured in a car wreck. She is in need of prayer, so please pray for her.
I think I covered everything, if not, I may be back.
This is like a really S L O W version of instant messenger. I am planning to ask for an alternate book, but if the teacher refuses, I will have him moved to another AP class if the curriculem is different, but otherwise I will just have him put in the regular class. I should have said that in my post. I don't know how far I will get with the teacher, he sounds like the kind who thinks you are not "cultured" if you are opposed to reading such things. Larry looked the book up online and it said that it is the most banned book in the US. Not a glowing reccomendation in my mind.
RYC I don't know if you could tell much about it, but the suit she had on came from Target ($12). It is a shirt and shorts. I put the skirt over it. The one she had last year came from Amazon.com the brand is Backflips. I checked the other day and they were on sale for $12.60, I think. I thought I might buy her several more in bigger sizes so I don't have to search for one every year.
Have a wonderful week! : )
Hey! Good to hear from you! Yeah, it's kinda like having a fourth child when Matt's with us and the further he gets into his 'teenagerdom' the scarrier it gets. Na, he'a a really good kid - it just changes the family dynamic when he's here and it takes a little while for the boys to figure out their 'place'.:) Our hotel was really great! It was a Staybridge Suites by Holiday Inn. The laundry room was really handy and it was located off the gym so you can work out while you wait on a load. :sunny: They also had basketball courts, a pool, dvds you could checkout and watch in your room, a great room with internet access and a printer, and did I mention the yummy coffee!? I highly recommend it for long vacations!
Yes, we will be at some of Lebanon. We'll be driving back and forth this year unless Lyd goes really early or something. I'm kinda 'on call' for that. I haven't looked at how the dates fall yet but it's probably safe to say if part of it falls on a weekend we'll be there those nights for sure. I'll check it out and get back to you. I'd love to see ya!!:sunny:
I gotta run! Got a kiddie bday party this am! ttyl
Jessica
RYC: Yes, those ARE my kids! I'm not old enough to have kids this old am I? And yes, Julie and Tracy are moving to Springfield. They are just waiting on their house to sell, I think. It will be nice for us too, having them in Springfield. I'm sure we will get to see them more often!:sunny:
Your page is so cute! I didn't get quite so fancy on mine, and haven't even messed with it enough to figure it out! I like your music too!:goodjob:
I am happily wrong about Math's teacher. SHE offered an alternate book, Ethan Frome. Would you mind asking Monte about it? I looked it up online and it seems to be MUCH better than the other one.
Ethan Frome is the name of the book. It's about a man who has a "sickly shrewish" wife and falls in love with a cousin. It shows the bad results of the choices he makes. Probably not a book I would choose, but it does sound MUCH better than the other one. I think I'll check it out of the library today and make sure before I email the teacher back about it.
hello!!! Lets see...I didn't get any messages from you previously asking who Curtis was, but I'll tell ya.. He is Okiejo63's nephew. Okiejo63's brother is Curtis's father....To really confuse you....Curtis's mother is a Nichols and therefore is related to the Middicks...therefore ..Chad's cousin......My nephew...we are all related in some way or another...crazy crazy.... How are you doing these days? Love you, Twila
FYI Check your messages. I need help with my postings.
New message from me.
ryc: I broke my toe. I hit my foot on the leg of a chair and lucky for me my toe got broken. It was not easy walking the first few days but it is a lot better now...That last picture is a snake that was right outside our house. I was going outside to water the flowers and about stepped on it. It was a little to close for me. I don't care for snakes....I hope y'all are doing good.
RYC: That particular day, she had thrown up right after I gave her some Tylenol. I could not get her to take anymore with out a huge battle. I had been using the washcloth to try and get her fever down. It was working and I guess she got cold. I didn't think anyone would even notice the washcloth! Leave it to a nurse. Next time she is sick, I'll come to you for advice.
I seldom listen to anything but children's music anymore. Is that Tim McGraws kids singing with him? Cute!
It's a Canon Power Shot SD 400. I found mine online at a site called beachcameras.com (I think that's the name). Anyway, it was about $100.00 cheaper than Wal-mart.
