I'm SCARED!!!

1. Today is Riverbank High School's League Track meet!!!!
2. WHY is that scary you say??!?
3. Well -- my husband (track coach) told the team that IF the boys AND the girls won the league meet today . . .
4. they could SHAVE his head in front of everyone at the awards assembly on MONDAY!!!   UGGGHGHH!!!
5. So I want them to win . . . and then again I don't!
6. Yes, he DID ask me first
7. It started out like this - "Honey, would you still love me if I were bald?"

So I told him to CALL me as soon as he knew any news today!!

WHAT will the verdict be??

1. BALD husband this summer
2. or BIG HAIR husband at Lebanon???

His kids tell him that he has "reporter hair"!  ha!!  So this is BIG!  It's not like he's Dr. Green on ER shaving his head or something! 

He's always had BIG HAIR!!
. . .  just like my DAD!  ha!

(That "hair" gets around!)

This is Monte and my cousin Tiffany's husband (Mearl) being refs at the powder puff game and the guys were the cheerleaders!!  Too bad the real cheerleaders didn't have skirts like this, huh?!  : )

We're all trying to help where we can.
I was supposed to do another "night shift" over their tonight but
my Uncle Ivan called and said that my Uncle Bill would be coming down to stay tonight -
so I got to go to services.  Even though you don't get much sleep over there during  the night -
I've decided that I still like the night shift better since the one day shift I did over there seemed to last forever! 
Of course, I'm not use to STARTING my day at 6 am either! 
I'm usually ENDING it right before then!  ha!

Well, we had a great day at the Wild Animal Park today!!  The weather was PERFECT!!  Not too cold and not too hot!  YEAH!!!

Now we have to go home tomorrow - how sad. . .

Oh yah - and today was our 9th wedding anniversary and Monte surprised me with an iPod!  I didn't even know I needed one!  ha!  He went over to his parents room with the girls and had Ainsley knock on my hotel room door and she handed it to me and said "Anniversary Mommy!  It's an iPod!"  ha!  Life is good . . .  good family, good vacation, great marriage & hubby. . . and an iPod!  ha!

For my xanga-friends in San Diego, this will not be so exciting. . .
but we are in San Diego!!

Ainsley has been talking about coming to San Diego for so long, she thought it was an amusement park I think! 
Anytime anyone would mention San Diego in passing - her eyes would light up and she would say
"SAN DIEGO?!!?!"  They also talk about the San Diego Zoo in the movie Madagascar, so she's thinking it MUST be pretty special!!

So now that we are here she keeps saying "Is San Diego going to close?" or "I want to go to San Diego now"
I think she MIGHT have it down now since I overheard her telling her cousin Kendra
"San Diego is a town and it don't close, huh-uh, won't close . . . " 

As you can see, we brought cousin Kendra along with us and we met Monte's parents here from Missouri
Hopefully, it's a nice break for them, if they can put up with 2 little girls . . . this pic reminds me of ME and Rachel at their age!!

So far, we've been to Sea World and the San Diego Zoo - I have many more pics that I will try to put up later - but need to get to bed for now since we need to get up
earlier tomorrow and head out for the Wild Animal Park!  I'm CHARGING my camera right now!!

The girls got caught off guard and a wave over took them both!  The were stunned and a little frightened, but after I picked them up out of the water and Kendra was whining about her new shirt being all wet - Monte said "Well, do you want to go back to the hotel and or just play more now that you're wet?"  They kind of looked at each other and quickly decided they were OK and said "Let's PLAY!"  So these are the "after pictures" of them playing.

He hinted that he was maybe taking drum lessons from his drummer . . .
well, later in the show he got to JAMMIN' himself!  Mel and I were surprised and, of course, VERY impressed!!

So one of the funniest things to me was before the concert when we headed to the bathroom . . .
I can NEVER recall in my life having a BATHROOM PATROL!  I guess maybe I just don't
get out much to BIG events, but she was literally directing traffic in the bathroom and saying
"Come on women, let's go!  Down here!  Hurry it up!" 
Was she REALLY telling me to hurry up and PEE????
Every time someone would walk out of a stall she would literally DIRECT with her hands,
the next person(s) in line where to go . . .

Anyway, I found it QUITE amusing - as did other women in the bathroom
that had obviously never been DIRECTED in such a manner before

This is his AWESOME violinist Lucia Micarelli who can ROCK HARD on that thing! 
You could see that she was just ripping her bow to shreds as she "got down"!!

This is Angelique Kidjo - she opened for Josh. 
She later tried to teach Josh how to dance - she was pretty crazy!

After the concert we headed home in the crazy traffic and hit In&Out Burger @ 12:15 or so.
Shared a burger and I TRIED to share a fri with Mel but she wanted her OWN!!!  ha!

FYI:  They serve Barque's Root Beer at In&Out - so it DOES have CAFFEINE!!  Uggggh!

Hmmm . . .
