  • MIZZOU vs nebraska

    So we had a little watch party for the Mizzou game on Saturday night since they haven't beaten Nebraska at home in like 30 years . . . and my husband was pretty confident they WOULD this year!!  : )

    Ainsley & I made cookies decorated with some of the players numbers . . .

    We also made MIZZOU stickers and put them on everything we could think of!  We labeled the cups with our guests names  . . . granted - most were a little crooked, thanks to Ainsley's sticker skills . . .

    And Ainsley made Mizzou hats earlier in the day:  Monte is sporting the "visor" style and Cousin Cole is wearing the classic party hat style  : )

    And since MIZZOU was NOT playing OU - Kendra even got into the spirit and drew her version of a MIZZOU TIGER!
    Her's is on the left and the other 2 are Ainsley's interpretation of Truman the Tiger  : )

    We had lots of food and fun and we were even able to talk quite a bit during the game since MIZZOU was winning by such a large margin!

  • @oeshpdog2 - OH man!!!  Was Saturday a BAD day or what!?!?  Good thing we didn't have our watch party then!  First OU loses to TX!!!  And then MO loses to OSU!?!?!!?  What is happening!?!?!?  :lookaround:  I will MAKE SURE that MIZZOU gets revenge on TX for you, ok?!  :lol:

    That was one stranger football Saturday. Now we don't know who to fear next...OSU???? TTU??? It is crazy. GO Mizzou!

  • Once again...we were pulling for Mizzou! But NOOOOO...now Texas is headed for the Big 12 championship for sure.

  • @oeshpdog2 - Oh I know!!!!  Greg and Rachel came over saturday to watch and HOPE for the win over TX!!  UGGH!!!  So frustrating!!  Well, at least OU won - so the day wasn't a complete bummer!  :coolman:  Now let's see what happens with OK State and TX!

  • These were carefully chosen common denominators, songs that black and white club-goers might agree upon in 2008. And, in fact, the two races were here in equal measure on a Friday night, dancing shoulder to shoulder at this upscale club in the heart of the old Confederacy.
