WHO'S the best Uncle EVER!?!
BRENT COURTER!!!!!
Being sooo patient - probably wondering if he should be BACKING OUT at this point!
A little video to capture the moment : ) Oh man, I was laughing so hard I didn't know where to start! I just couldn't believe he was letting her do it!
She was soo excited to be painting someone's nails (since I'VE never let her do it) and she kept looking up at him and saying "Really? I can?" ha!
Didn't she do a good job for her FIRST pedicure!??
FYI: For those of you that don't know, Brent is married to my husband's sister Dana and they live in Missouri : )
Poor Brent - I hope this doesn't damage is "rep" too bad!!
And Auntie Dana painted Ainsley's toe nails . . . aren't they soo cute!?!?

We are still in La Jolla. Our plane leaves on Friday around 2:30pm. We went to the beach last night after Michael got out of his meeting. We got to see the sea lions at the Children's Pool area. Emma was amazed! Then we hung out at Shell Beach for a little while. It was getting late and the tide was getting high but it was fun. I am taking the kids down to La Jolla Cove today while Michael is working. Then tonight I'm not sure what we will do. Maybe Coronado? Do you have any suggestions? Is Bully's the restaurant at the racquet club? I wish we could stay out here longer so we would have time to make it to Northern California! It would be great to hang out with you guys. We will definitely do that the next time we come to California 
I still want to go to Yosemite with you guys and Greg and Rachel.
I must say I'm a little grossed out.. hee hee... but it is sweet of him to let her do that! feet are gross.

@oeshpdog2 - that pic of you and Ali is just sooo perfectly CUTE!!! RYC: we're glad to be back home, but miss the blue MO skies!! - not so much tired, just good to be doing things around the house like finishing painting the deck, fixing pickets in our fence and staining those, doing yard work . . . the maintenance stuff.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video - as you could see, I thought it was HILARIOUS! Another step closer to getting to know Ainsley's personality, huh? I couldn't believe how confused she acted when I asked her who her fave uncle was and she said . . . PAPA!?!!? WEIRD CHILD!!!
@bring_me_daisies - YES!! I didn't mention that part . . . of how CREEPY it looks seeing those feet and legs in the same pic as red polished to nails!! lol!!
@ItIsAWonderfulLife - You can go to http://www.bullyslajolla.signonsandiego.com/ to find out @ Bully's - it is not the same place as the raquet club. Really it is just a hole in the wall, but it is a very famous hole. It is known for it's seafood and primerib - I'm not big on prime rib but it is the only place I'VE been to where they had the huge Alaskan King crab already peeled for you and on the plate! YUMMY!! Don't guess it would be the best for the kids though . . . you can check it out . . .
Yes, we love to go to Yosemite! I need to post my picks of Monte and I hiking to Vernal and Nevada Falls - we're also supposed to hike Half Dome in a week or two! Is there any smoke down there?
Can anyone say blackmail!!!!! My brothers (the Harris boys) would love to get a hold of these pictures..........Brent used to spend a lot of time with them.

@SherrBearOKC - I think he left it on over night at least, then went home and it came off there. Of course Ainsley could care less when he took it off as long as she got to paint!!
Yes, you are very perceptive! I was noticing Ainsley's arm band myself! We took her to an urgent care on the way home from Lebanon to get her ears checked out since she woke up CRYING the night before w/ear pain. So she got a Rx for antibiotics and some ear drops for pain and all was good! :coolman: Fortunately, we NEVER even had to use the ear drops!
@Dejinni - I'm glad your whole family could get a good laugh!! I didn't realize he would be SOOOO nice to Ainsley . . . I think Dana may have persuaded him a bit too and he kind of has a soft spot for her too I think :love: All in all, it was a GOOD laugh for everyone!!!
@jhbevis - So THAT'S who you are! I was wondering since you posted about Danae & Frank's baby! So where do you live? You weren't the one sitting by us at the Catfish house in Lebanon, were you?
Anyway, yes, I could not believe Brent allowed such a thing but we decided that he was secure enough in his masculinity for such a thing! :p I'm pretty sure I gave him fair warning that this MIGHT be on Xanga . . . ooops! Hope he's not too upset with me!!?!? :whocares::fun:
@mobecca - not me at the catfish house...............I live in Birmingham, Al. Out of 7 Harris kids I am third in line, I am Jennifer (Harris) Bevis. I have brothers that are the same age as Brent. Floyd is in La, Frank is in Ca, and Fred is in Mo. My oldest sister, Debbie is in Tn, then Teresa is in In, and Priscilla is in Oh..there you have it......oh wait my Dad is Floyd and he is married to Betty (Shaw) and is in Mo too!
That was a great thing that Brent did. What a great memory and great uncle.:spinning:
