Soooooo . . . . I know soo many of you are just on the edge of your seat, waiting to hear the results of our 4th Annual Rook Tournament!

Looks like it was fun, wish we could have made it but I was just too too tired. Chloe had a fever this AM, but now seems fine.. she hasn't puked since like 2am so I hope we are through with the worst of it!!

What fun! I love Rook, but we don't play it often enough. The last time we played, it was Reba and I against Glen and Lonnie. I got the Rook every hand except for about two of them. It was great...we smeared them! Lonnie was shuffling one of the hands, and dropped a card face up. It happened to be the Rook, so I said, "you might as well just go ahead and give it to me now". ) I'm sure I'll be fine. If the medication I take keeps it from progressing, then I can handle flare ups of what I've already had. I'm not crazy about the hearing loss and dizziness, but it's manageable.
RYC: Thanks, Becca. You are exactly right! It did really make me think and wonder about the spirit and what exactly happens when it leaves the body. She was on a BI-PAP (sp?) and I was just rubbing her leg and watching the monitor and it got more and more random and I just knew something was different. And then she looked so awful when they took everything off her, it was just so clear she was gone, you know? I told Frank, of course I have thought about people going to Paradise before, but it was never anyone I knew really well, and it is a whole different thing. I can't just have this nice abstract view of Paradise, it has to be real in my mind now. My brain hurts thinking about it!

RYC: The camera I am getting is the Kodak Easy Share C875. I looked on Consumer Reports to see what they recommended, and it got the highest rating. It has 8 megapixels and a 5X optical zoom. It also does panoramics and lots of other cool stuff. Shannon's digital camera recently broke, and she got the same one. It seems to be a good one, so I hope I like it!
I got my Disney scrapbook album at Michael's, but I also saw them at A.C. Moore. They had another one too with the Disney princesses on it. They make really cute scrapbooks. You should get one for your Disneyland pictures!:yes:
haha..true, our posts were strikingly similar although I didn't post about the bridal fair (we worked the shift before D & P) and Pam didn't say anything about Michael's promotion....haha:
